Poetry Showdown #3
May peace be on you, Reader. Welcome to the Muslim Ninja blog.
You can call me Ninja.
Let's start where we left off in the last post.
M: I'm gonna judge the next round. You two against each other.
N: Alright!
A: What's the topic?
M: Hmm... how about each other? Nene writes a poem about Asya, and Asya writes a poem about Nene.
A: Okay. Haha.
N: Oh, I have a lot to write about, haha.
Just for a little background information for the Reader: Asya and Nene live together.
A few minutes later...
M: Are you guys ready?
N: Yeah.
A: ...Yep.
M: Okay. Asya, read yours first.
A: Alright.
Nene
Walk myself up to my bed
Slid smoothly a hand under my head
If my loneliness were ever a person
She'd walk through my door and beat me up for fun
I turn as she crawls up my leg
Always scared as I beg
Get out of my room!
She beats me up instead
M: O-oh...
N: What?! I 'crawl up your leg'?
A: What?
M: Okay, your turn Nene.
N: Mine is sweet! Listen.
Asya
Asya my sister since we were 7
My sister until the end, by end, I mean heaven.
As beautiful as you are
Pretty like a star
Sweet like a chocolate bar
I'm glad I have you in my life
When we laugh your smile is bright
From America to Senegal
Me and you have been through it all
I love you like my blood
Our story has just begun
You are my sunshine
My skibiddi, my flame
Even though we fight like we're in a game
Of twister in the end
You will forever be my sister <3
My Asya
Wasya
Yakham
Goudibay
M: Aww.
A: 'Asya Wasya'?! What?
N: Haha, my skibiddi!
M: One more round?
LAST ROUND COMING SOON!
Wait a minute! Who won?
Yeah, I might have forgotten to pick...
Well, you can pick now.
Nah.
Taking the easy way out, I see?
They're both winners. Look the poems are subjective! Asya's poem was ... interesting. And Nene's was sweet. So how could I judge?!
Fair. Remember the poem you wrote for me?
Of course!
Don't forget to follow me, comment, and share this blog with your family and friends! May Allah give you good, and may peace be on you!
May peace be on you, Reader.

J-ust because we fight sometimes, doesn't mean I
A-m not glad that we live under the same sky
Look what I found.
Praise Allah, my poem! Where did you find it?
In that box under my bed. I was looking for things to pack for our trip.
"I see you've packed."
"See you haven't."
"Change of plans. My parents decided to go to Romania to visit my brother, Charlie."
Harry Potter puns aside, you should get to packing.
...
"He's studying dragons there."
