Poetry Showdown #4

May peace be on you, Reader. Welcome to the Muslim Ninja blog.

You can call me Ninja.

You know the drill by now, reader.

In chemistry class...

M: How about we all write a poem?

A: Good idea!

N: But who's gonna judge? And pick the prompt?

M:... How about Ms. Ayesha?

A: Yeah! Ask her.

M: Ms. Ayesha?

Ms.: Yes?

M: Can you pick a prompt for our poetry competition?

Ms.: ... What?

A: Miss, we're doing a poetry competition.

N: You have to pick a theme for us to write on.

Ms.: Hmm... How about reflections of the year?

All: Aww, Miss!

M: That's too deep!

N: We're just having fun!

A: Give us a funny topic!

Ms.: Really? But...okay. Let's see...

M: How about we write a poem on Ms. Ayesha?

N: Oooh!

A: Good idea! Miss!

M: We're gonna write poems about you!

Ms.: *Laughs*

A few minutes later...

Hey! I got an idea!

What is it?

I'll write down each poem, but not who made the poem. The Readers can guess!

That is honestly one of the best ideas you've ever had.

Thank you... wait.

Haha, I was just joking. Show us those poems!

Ms. Ayesha #1

First English; now Chem

You can do it all; you're a gem

You make me laugh at your cringey jokes

You're like an egg full of yolkes

Your smile is like a sunshine, light and bright

But when you're mad, I'm scared you'll bite

Your mood swings can be pretty frightening

When you scream, it reminds me of lightning

All jokes aside, I love our talks

We can talk about anything like crocs, socks, and walks

Overall I'm glad the end is near

Thank you for being an amazing teacher

See you next year

Ms. Ayesha #2

If you're looking for a certain teacher,

Follow her crowd of fans; can't miss her

Golden age of 25

Her name means 'lively, alive'

When she laughs her face shines with luster

Ms. Ayesha #3

Elements and tables run along her words

Her board is filled with all the things that we've never heard

So dear is she, our Ms. Ayesha Rasheed

But it's pronounced 'Raashed'

As so many fail to read

And now her students call

Through the school's halls and walls

Under her desk she goes where everyday she crawls

Till she picked up her phone

There she laughed as she's never alone

Texting her husband

Maybe she wishes she were home

May Allah bless you, Ms. Ayesha! You're an awesome teacher!

Don't forget to follow me, comment, and share this blog with your family and friends! May Allah give you good, and may peace be on you!

May peace be on you, Reader.

I have good ideas sometimes.

Well, it would have been a good idea to start packing right about now, instead of four days before the flight.

Alright already! I'll go start packing now, happy?

Sigh. Thank you.

I'm done.

Done with what?

Packing.

I don't believe you.

Here's my suitcase and carry-on. I've got clothes, candies, gifts, books, devices, stationary, toiletries, money,...

Praise Allah. That is some talent you got there. I'm learning new things about you left and right, it seems.

Aww, don't worry, Inn! Since we'll be flying for around 24 hours alone together, we can learn much much more about each other! Hehehee.

Ya Allah, help me...
